A to Z Insurance is an independent Property & Casualty agency with over 30 years of experience serving consumers and businesses across Delaware and nearby states. We’re Hiring – Open Positions

We are looking for an insurance customer service representative to connect with our insurance customers. In this role, you will be responsible for answering customer questions, helping customers solve challenges, and providing potential customers with detailed information about our products. You may also be required to review a customer’s policy and direct calls to sales agents when a policy needs to be purchased or upgraded.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with our range of products, services, and systems.
- Provide customers with detailed information about policies and products, and recommendations.
- Answer calls and respond to customer complaints.
- Gather the information and risk management recommendations, renewal of designated accounts, and assist Producer(s) as needed.
Qualifications:
- English and Spanish fluency is a big plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High-level typing skills.
- Advanced knowledge of telephone and call forwarding systems.
- Willing to study for and pass the insurance licensing exam if we provide you the training.
- Previous experience working as a customer service representative.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Big plus:
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules.
- Ability to clearly explain detailed policy concepts.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key referral partners.
- Identify prospects through cold calling over the phone and visiting local businesses to offer and sell insurance.
- Cultivate relationships and cross-sell additional lines of insurance.
- Familiarize yourself with our range of products and systems through agency-provided training.
- Provide customers with detailed information about policies and products, and recommendations.
- Answer calls and respond to customer complaints.
- Gather the information and risk management recommendations, renewal of designated accounts, and assist Producer(s) as needed.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid and current P&C Insurance License
- Demonstrated sales success.
- Articulate and professional in person and on the phone.
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
- Organized with a high standard of quality
- Professional in dress and behavior
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Self-starter, driven, and can manage rejection
- Confident working independently
- Energetic & enthusiastic
- Patient, respectful, reliable, supportive, and ethical
